Subject: assistance needed

Hi,

This is one of my last ditch efforts to help my daughter.

I don't know if there is anyway you can help or if you have

an actual paper that goes out that I can run an add in but

this is the situation.

My daughter is adopted. Her birthfamily is from the St.

Marys area. I know that as a fact. We have all of the infor-

mation on her birth the family basics, etc. We even have a

copy of a letter from the birthmother saying she hopes to

see her daughter upon age 18... well, she is now 19.

My daughter needs some medical information due to some

health problems. She also was the victim of a horrible crime.

Her counselor felt that there is a gap that needs to be filled

and that is finding out more about who she is. She is slowly

regaining her life but still has no goals.

I am very sure that the birthfamily will be glad of the

contact. Everything we have been given indicates hope for a

reunion. We all had hoped the law would change by this time

but it did not in Ohio. We can't go to the courts until daughter

is 21. That is too long to wait.

I found out from an adoption agency that we can legally

do a newpaper and website search and pray a family member sees

it. If you can help or give an idea of how to help please let

me know. Here is the information that I do have on our daughter

in relationship to her birth and birthfamily:

     born: January 4, 1981 early in a.m.

	    St. Mary, Ohio

            Dr. Ruben Plaza

birth first & middle names: Jessica Lynn

     hair/eyes: blonde with blue eyes

Birthmother was in her 20's, had been in the service,

liked music, believe may have studied something with computers

and or finance. Came from a large family (think 9 children not

sure), her mother evidently may have been a nurse and her father

Personnel for some large company. She did take care of the baby

at the hospital.

We have a letter written by her to the daughter. We also

have one from the b-mom's dad. The family also gave two other

items which we will not identify. The correct person will

probably know what those are. She had brown hair and brown eyes.

Birthfather: in his 20's, blonde, blue eyes of German

heritage. He had been married and divorced with two children

from that marriage.

I don't know if you can help but do thank you for reading

this. Who knows, maybe you know of whom I am speaking or are a

relative. If so I hope this is not upsetting, but instead a

celebration.

    Thanks.
