March P.T.O. Meeting: The next meeting of the Noble P.T.O. is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6, at 7 p.m. The program will be the Science and Social Studies Fair. All fourth, fifth and sixth graders will present their projects. The fourth, fifth and sixth grade room parents will provide refreshments.

Testing Schedule: Students in grades two, three, four, five and six will be involved in testing during the week of March 12-16. The fourth and sixth graders will take the State of Ohio Fourth and Sixth Grade Proficiency Tests throughout the week. Students in grades two and five will take the Cognitive Abilities Test over three days. The third graders will take the reading portion of the Fourth Grade Proficiency Test on Tuesday, March 13, and the Off Year Practice Proficiency Math test on Wednesday, March 14. The fifth graders will also be taking the Off Year Practice Proficiency Reading and Math Tests on March 13 and 14 respectively. Our next testing period will be the week of April 2 when the Iowa Test of Basic Skills will be administered to students in grades one, two, three and five.

Read Across America: During the month of march, Noble students will be participating in the "Read Across America Program." Each student has received a letter from Mrs. Hoying, our school librarian, explaining the program. Each class is attempting to read a total of at least fifty books, with settings in all fifty states. The contest runs through Friday, march 31.

SPRING FROLIC: The Noble Spring Frolic is scheduled for Saturday, March 31. The kitchen opens at 4 p.m. and the games begin at 4:30 p.m. The entertainment will be Kal Kotter's "Fun, Magic, and Illusion Show." His performance will begin at 8 p.m. Raffle tickets will be available soon, and the grand prize will be a home entertainment system from Fowler's Magnavox. Please help us prepare for this exciting evening by baking a cake for the cake wheel and by volunteering you time to work at a game.
