ST. MARYS -- Adults and youngsters alike enjoyed an Open House at the St. Marys Community Public Library Sunday. There were numerous activities, highlighted by a visit from Santa Claus, who took time from his busy North Pole schedule to visit with children and pose for free photographs.
"We're very happy with the turnout," said Librarian Joy Johnson. "We have a lot of activities planned."
Besides Santa, there were refreshments provided by "The Friends of the Library," arts and crafts demonstrations, door prizes, and craft projects for children.
Open house visitors were able to inspect some of the library services and apply for library cards.
