The Cleveland Duo and James Umble, Saxophonist will perform at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2003, in the auditorium at Wright State University-Lake Campus. This event is sponsored by the College Community Arts Council. Tickets will be available at the door: $10.00, Adult and $5.00 Student. Lake Campus students will be admitted free with student ID.
Well known for its versatile and innovative programming, the Cleveland Duo is made up of two outstanding musicians from the Cleveland Orchestra, Carolyn Gadiel Warner, pianist and violinist, and Stephen Warner, violinist. James Umble is currently Associate Professor of Music at the Dana School of Music, Youngstown State University. Together this threesome has performed all over the United States, including live broadcasts over both National Public Radio and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Their programs feature an intriguing blend of beloved master works as well as exciting new commissions written expressly for them.
