The Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) and the Lake Campus of Wright State University are pleased to announce that R G Sound & Communication has made a $250 donation to the Academic Excellence Scholarship Fund at the Lake Campus. Pictured is Thomas A. Knapke, Lake Campus Assistant Dean for Development, accepting a check for $250 from R G Sound & Communication Owners Andy and Jody Godwin. The company has offices in the Celina Industrial Park and in St. Marys.
Receiving a $3000 Academic Excellence Scholarship from St. Marys Memorial High School for the 2002-2003 academic year is Cory T. Scarpella. Receiving a second year $1000 renewal award from Memorial is Kurtis L. Rammel.
$3000 Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded to a high school senior from each of the high schools in Auglaize, Mercer, and Van Wert counties; from Ansonia, Greenville, Mississinawa Valley, and Versailles high schools in Darke County; and from Delphos St. Johns, Delphos Jefferson, and Spencerville high schools in Allen County. The scholarship is renewable for $1000 for a second year.
