Noble Spring Frolic Saturday
ST. MARYS -- The annual Noble Elementary School PTO "Spring Frolic" will be held Saturday March 29, featuring a hog roast, raffles, games and entertainment.
Hog roast dinners will be available for carryout from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Noble School on River Road. The dinners include a large pork sandwich, chips and a 20 oz. soft drink. Dinners will also be available in the Noble Cafeteria along with several other menu items. The cafeteria opens at 4:30 p.m. and closes at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The "Spring Frolic" will feature two raffles with over 200 prizes generously donated by a variety of community-minded businesses, organizations and professionals. The main raffle features grand prizes of a Sony Digital Video Camera, A family weekend stay at the Great Bear Lodge, $500 cash donated by the L & R and Company and a "Sporty" Electri Scooter donated by Larry Schaaf Auto Sales. Tickets can be purchased from any Noble Student or at the Spring Frolic. You do not need to be present to win.
A Kid's Raffle will also be held with grand prozes of a new bicycle and a GameBoy. Tickets for the Kids Raffle are available only at the event. You do not need to be present at the time of the drawing to win.
A variety of kids carnival games will be available at the school, and a magician will entertain beginning at 8 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the Noble School PTO. Besides funding school trips, supplies and other items, the PTO purchased four new lap top computers this year for the schools wireless laptop computer lab.
