The Business Enterprise Center at the Lake Campus of Wright State University is pleased to announce a joint effort between the campus and the Lima chapter of APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) to bring to the public an educational program designed to help your business run more effectively through innovative resource management education and information.
The public is cordially invited to attend this program on Thursday, April 17, from 7:30-10:00 a.m., in Room 182 at the campus. This meeting will be an introduction to educational opportunities provided by your local APICS chapter and provide information on possible future training offered cooperatively by APICS and the Lake Campus. There is no charge for the program. Refreshments will be served.
APICS, through its Educational Society for Resource Management, is dedicated to using education to improve the business bottom line. The organization is recognized globally as the source of knowledge and expertise for manufacturing and service industries across the entire supply chain in such areas as materials management, information services, purchasing, and quality. APICS is also recognized for being the leading provider of high-quality, cutting-edge educational programs that advance organizational success in a changing, competitive marketplace. The organization has developed two internationally recognized certification programs - Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM).
Jon Heffner, Lake Campus Business Enterprise Center (BEC) Director says, “APICS is globally known as an exceptional educational source offering solutions and support for both manufacturing and service industries worldwide.
