The Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) and the Lake Campus of Wright State University are pleased to announce that Leugers Insurance Agency, Inc., of Maria Stein and St. Marys has again made a $500 donation to the Academic Excellence Scholarship Fund at the Lake Campus. Receiving the $3,000 scholarship for the 2002-2003 academic year from Marion Local High School is Jamie L. Moeder and from St. Marys Memorial is Cory T. Scarpella. Kurtis L. Rammel of Memorial was awarded the second year $1,000 renewal.
$3000 Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded to a high school senior from each of the high schools in Auglaize, Mercer, and Van Wert counties; from Ansonia, Greenville, Mississinawa Valley, and Versailles high schools in Darke County; and from Delphos St. Johns, Delphos Jefferson, and Spencerville high schools in Allen County.
The scholarship is renewable for $1000 for a second year.
