The Advanced Photoshop students in the Office Information Systems (OIS) program at the Lake Campus of Wright State University recently presented their prepared multimedia presentations that were created to promote the new graphic program at the campus. Adjunct Instructor Twyla Hayes assigned the project that was to create an attractive logo design that would capture the attention of future students and would use current desktop technologies and software. The presentations were made in front of the class and a number of judges, Lake Campus faculty and staff, who evaluated the presentations for both their oral and graphic qualities.

Said Hayes prior to the formal presentations, “The impetus behind this project was to create an attractive logo to promote our new Graphic Communication and Production Technology program. I put no limits on the students; I wanted them to use their own creativity and production skills in a product they felt would not only promote the program but would also make them proud of their work.”
