2003 St. Marys Summerfest Bed Races
Sponsored by the Orthopaedic Institute of Ohio
Prizes for ALL participants! CASH awards for the top three finishers!

at 3pm in front of Memorial High School
(Registration 2:15-2:45pm)
Rules and Guidelines
- There are to be no less than four and no more than five team members. Substitutes are accepted as long as team signs new waiver during the registration period the day of the race.
- Racers are encouraged to dress in theme or support for their organization.
- Teams can bring a fitted, twin bed sheet decorated to match their theme/organization.
- The most original/most spirited team will have their name engraved on the Traveling Bed Pan.
- Course and agility contests will be announced on-location the day of the race.
- Only two beds will race each heat, so beds will be timed. The best time wins!
- Participants who are under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them.
- Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- The registration fee is $15 and is non-refundable.
- Decisions of the referees and Bed Race committee are final.
- Questions/Concerns can be addresses to Lisa or Chuck.
All team members (or their guardian) must sign the waiver by the application deadline of Friday, August 8. Application/Waiver forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce office. Please turn in completed application with a check for the $15 registration fee made out to "St. Marys Summerfest." You can send it by mail or drop it off in person to:
