The Business Enterprise Center plays a major role in connecting the university with the community as it offers a full service business assistance program to new, developing, and expanding companies in the Lake Campus service area. The support the BEC offers includes the three main areas of business consulting, business and industrial training, and customized on-site training. Workshops and classes cover topics such as interpreting financial statements, tax planning and financing expansions and software applications such as Excel and Quickbooks.
