Full Tuition Crown Scholarship Recipients Feted

Honored at a recent reception given by the Lake Campus of Wright State University and the Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) were recipients of the full tuition Crown Scholarship for the 2003-2004 academic year at the Lake Campus. The scholarship is renewable for up three years. Pictured above are Auglaize County WOEF Trustee Katy Dicke, Crown Scholarship recipients Lynn M. Knapke, New Bremen; Casey M. McEvoy, Memorial; Heather C. Topp, New Bremen; and Dustan S. Adkins, Celina; and Auglaize County WOEF Trustee Ed Noble. Topp and Adkins were awarded renewal scholarships. Also receiving a Crown renewal scholarship but unable to attend the reception is Tyler J. Poeppelman, New Bremen.
The Lake Campus and the Western Ohio Educational Foundation took the occasion of this reception to honor recipients of scholarships and grants awarded for the 2003-2004 academic year. In attendance, in addition to scholarship winners and their families, were Lake Campus faculty and staff members and WOEF Board trustees. To date, 131 awards for a total of $150,324 have been awarded. Scholarships and grants are funded by the WOEF Board, various individuals, community organizations, corporations, and endowment funds.
