WAPAKONETA -- The Auglaize County Cancer Society will be hosting a carry-out or dine-in dinner from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10 at the Wapakoneta V.F.W. hall at 712 North Dixie.
Money raised by this event will be used to promote public awareness of prostate cancer, and to encourage regular check-ups.
The meal will cost $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children and will include:
- BBQ Beef or Turkey Sandwich
- Potato Salad
- Baked Beans
- Pie or Cake
- Soft Drink.
Additional servings will be available -
- Sandwiches: $1.00 each
- Side Dishes: $0.50 each
- Pie or Cake: $0.75 each.
A raffle will be held and door prizes will be given away - winners will be announced at 8:30 p.m. and one need not be present at that time to win.
The kids can have their faces painted for a quarter apiece, and win prizes at games for 50 cents a game.
