Lake Campus Remembers 9-1-1
LAKE CAMPUS -- Pictured are Lake Campus student and Eagle Scout Andrew Mott of Celina (left) and Vaughn Schellhause, Lake Campus academic advisor /recruiter, as they prepare to raise the American flag and then lower it to half-staff as the Lake Campus of Wright State University paused for a remembrance of September 11, 2001. Lake Campus’ James Davis, academic advisor /recruiter and adjunct professor of music, led administration, faculty, staff, and students in singing “America The Beautiful,” and Lake Campus Dean Anita Curry-Jackson led in a moment of silence.
The group gathered in front of the Lake Campus’ flagpole, and at 8:46, the flag was raised and then lowered to half-staff.
