The winning is not ancient history for the Cowboys. Wyoming has qualified for the state playoffs for the last eight seasons and nine of the last 10. Wyoming won a state championship in 1977.
The Cowboys compiled a 9-1 record this season, playing in the Cincinnati Hills League. Their only loss of the season was a 42-12 setback to Reading.

The next leading rusher is Drew Johnson, who has carried the ball 37 times for 361 yards and Authur Baldwin has 51 carries for 330 yards.
Senior Eric Baker calls the signals for the Cowboys. Baker is averaging 128 yards passing per game, completing about 55 percent of his passes. For the season, Baker is 79 of 145 for 1,277 yards with 16 touchdowns and just four interceptions.
Baker has a favorite target in 6-5, 215-pound senior wide receiver Kevin Weybright. More than half of Bakers' completions and nearly two-thirds of his passing yardage has gone to Weybright.
Weybright has caught 40 passes for 742 yards this season, averaging 18.6 yards a catch. The next leading receiver is Drew Johnson with 18 catches for 204 yards. Weybright is also the leading receiver on defense, as he has grabbed seven interceptions this season.
Tudor and Weybright have combined to score 31 of the Cowboys' 48 touchdowns this season.
Jordan Hosmer, a 6-3, 230-pound junior linebacker leads Wyoming in tackles with 107. Marcus Pryor has recorded six tackles and five fumble recoveries this season, while Jesse Brumbaugh has 66 tackles.
