MHS Students Win DECA Awards at ONU Conference
Memorial High School DECA members recently won 13 awards at the annual DECA District 3 Fall Leadership Conference held at Ohio Northern University.
Those students winning awards were (front l-r): Lynday Rupert, second in Female Public Relations; Candice Keeling, 3rd in marketing test; Lorynn Riley, 2nd in Job Interview blue division; (2nd row) Eric Fiely, 5th in Male Public Relations; Corey Vossler, 2nd in marketing mathematics; Maggie Riesen, 1st in marketing mathematics; Krysten Chambers, 1st in job interview gold division; (3rd row) Todd Graves, 5th in marketing mathematics; Emily Matthews and Krissy Haines, 4th in Team Management Entry level; (back row) Luke Tompary and Rob Coons, 4th in Team Management Supervisory Level; and Travis Frilling, 1st in marketing test.
DECA is the co-curricular component of the marketing education class and provides a program of student activities related to marketing and management. Chapter activities provide opportunities for students to develop.
