The Memorial High School Thespians will be performing Virgil's Wedding this upcoming weekend, Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22.
Virgil's Wedding is a full-length comedy set in the hillbilly town of Lickskillet, USA, where Margaret Hooper and Virgil Sludge are engaged to be married. Ms. Delanie, a wedding director from the city, is in charge of planning this wedding, and if she successfully does so, she will be promoted. However, she finds that this wedding is not quite as easy as she had thought it would be.
The bride, Margaret Hooper, is having second thoughts of her marriage because her mother always told her to marry "Mr. Right," but her groom is Virgil Sludge, not "Mr. Right." In the meantime, amongst all of this, various other mishaps occur. From a barking wedding guest to an absent-minded preacher, this production will undoubtedly have you laughing from the moment the night begins.
Come and enjoy a night FULL of laughter! Once again, the performance dates are Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22. The show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Memorial High School in the main office and are $4 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Reserved seating only.
So ya'll, bring your family and friends and we'll see ya there!
