Midwest Electric Employees, Board Donate $1,868 to Christmas for Kids Program

Less-fortunate children in Auglaize and Mercer counties will have a merrier Christmas, thanks to employees and trustees of Midwest Electric.
The money will be used to purchase toys and needed gifts for area children. Over the last 11 years, Midwest Electric employees, trustees and customers have contributed nearly $18,500 to the Christmas for Kids program.
SOURCES on December 22 will hold a dinner for about 200 families, where the children will receive their presents.
Based in St. Marys, OH, Midwest Electric is the customer-owned electric cooperative for 10,000 homes, farms and businesses in Auglaize, Mercer, Allen, Van Wert, Putnam, Shelby and Darke counties.
