The Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) and the Lake Campus of Wright State University are pleased to announce that the St. Marys Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 767 has established at the Lake Campus a new full tuition scholarship of approximately $4,000.
The scholarship will first be awarded to a senior graduating in 2004 from St. Marys Memorial High School who has pursued a college preparatory curriculum and has achieved a high school GPA of 3.0 or above. The recipient must enroll for at least 12 credit hours per quarter.
Says Lake Campus Assistant Dean for Development Thomas Knapke, “We at the Lake Campus really appreciate the support the St. Marys Eagles is giving to our campus. This full tuition scholarship will afford a new Lake Campus student a tremendous financial boost toward his or her education.”
The Eagles has also given a $2,000 donation to the Academic Excellence Scholarship Fund at the Lake Campus. This fund gives a $3,000 scholarship, renewable for $1,000 for a second year, to each of some twenty-two area high school graduates that attend the Lake Campus.
Persons interested in scholarships at the Lake Campus may contact Student Services Officer Sandy Gilbert in the financial aid office, 419-586-0336, or 1-800-237-1477, extension 8336.
