Valley Sponsors Troop Support Event

ST. MARYS -- St. Marys Nat'l Guard 612th Division Company A - Donations Needed: all proceeds from this event will be used to create gift boxes for Ohio National Guard Company A 612th ENBN.

Christmas Tree Wonderland

Beautifully decorated trees and wreaths, of various themes, will be on display at Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center from November 29th to December 22nd. We are asking that Local business owners, organizations, and individuals donate a decorated item in the theme of your choice.

Monetary donations are welcome, please make payable to Family Readiness Group 612th Unit.

All donated items must be received prior to December 6th.

If you would like to own one of these beautiful trees or wreaths, please look for the silent bid display in our lobby. Winners will be notified by December 23rd, and asked to pick up their items no later than December 31st. All proceeds from this event will be used to create gift boxes for Ohio National Guard Company A 612th ENBN.

Company A deployed November 13th for Camp Atterbury, IN and Kuwait. They will be receiving extensive training for the next several weeks to serve a 12-month tour in Bagdad, Iraq doing security missions.

Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is organizing a team of volunteers to help create care packages for these men and women. Please help us to make this a successful event by donating an item for our silent bid, or by assisting with the packaging and mailing of our gifts of love.

Businesses, organizations, and individuals who provide their support to this charitable event will have their name listed on a brochure that will be on display in their businesses to help promote the silent bidding profits. The local media is going to do a feature story to promote the event and also a follow up story to post all patrons of our success.

The public is welcome anytime at Valley from 8 am to 8 pm to peruse the items. A public open house with refreshments will be held on Monday December 20th from 4 to 8 pm.

If you are interested in donating an item to auction for this event, please respond to this email and I will get you a form to fill out stating your interest and what item you will donate. Help us to give a United States soldier a gift of love this holiday season!

Thank you in advance for your support!
