ST. MARYS -- The St. Marys "All-Brass" Marching Band has begun a campaign to purchase new uniforms for the 2005 fall marching band season.
After 13 years and 148 football games, parades, concerts, and other performances, it is now time to replace the current band uniforms.
From far away, their uniforms might look good, but up close one can tell there is a lot of wear and tear. Some zippers do not work, and years of mending and cleaning have taken their toll. The average life span of band uniforms is 10 to 12 years.
The cost of a single new uniform is approximately $340, and the goal is 160 uniforms. A donation of your choice would be an opportunity to support the members of "The Pride of St. Marys." It is also a perfect way to honor a former, present, or future band member or supporter of the band program.
Your generous gift will help to make a visible difference for the band, and will ensure that band members for years to come will be attired in high quality uniforms. Every monetary gift, no matter how large or small, is important to our goal.
