Lock One Community Arts Presents The Vogues
NEW BREMEN -- Bring your special angel to The Vogues.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Lock One Community Arts will present The Vogues, February 12, 2006 at the James F. Dicke Auditorium at 7:00 PM.
It took one of their early recordings “You’re the One”, to thrust The Vogues into national fame. There followed a series of million selling records and albums with songs such as “Turn Around, Look At Me”, “My Special Angel”, and “5 O’Clock World” (which 30 years later became the theme song for the “Drew Carey Show”). The Vogues became one of the most in demand groups, touring the United States, England and Australia. Their outstanding talent, stylish delivery and excellent choice of material coupled with their vitality and poised performance make them one of the world’s top night club acts.
The word “Vogue” means: The mode or fashion prevalent at any particular time. The Vogues have worked hard and successfully to maintain a “Now” trend while retaining their highly individualistic sound. Even though members have changed over the years, there is no mistaking The Vogues Sound. They truly fulfill the promise of their name.
