No personal information (telephone & facsimile numbers, street addresses, birthdays, credit cards, Social Security numbers, ISP passwords - and we do know all this stuff) will EVER be published online, unless as directed by a customer as part of a paid advertisement.

ridertown.com will NEVER sell your email address, or any of the above personal info, to anyone.

HOWEVER: ridertown.com considers email addresses vital to the flow of the internet and therefore essential to the success of ridertown.com. As such, individual email addresses will be listed in the email directory as collected, unless ridertown.com is specifically notified of an individual's refusal to allow the listing. In that case, the individual will be ineligible for any active participation in ridertown.com and will be placed on the Banned For Life list, in lieu of physical pillorying. Fair is fair.

Community News First:

ridertown.com will post relevant local non-commercial messages (usually unedited) for free, with the following stipulations:

Submittals must indicate the ridertown.com category desired, e.g. Bulletin Board, Schools, Civic Organizations, etc.

Submittals to be posted on ridertown.com should be emailed to webmaster@ridertown.com.

Submittals to be emailed to ridertown.com eGroups members should be submitted to ridertown@egroups.com.

Text must be in plain text format only. NO FORWARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED: please "clean up" the text message and send to us as a new composition.

Images must be either in (.jpg) or (.gif) formats.

All submittals must include a valid contact email address which will be published as part of the submittal. (See ridertown.com's Privacy Policy above.)

ridertown.com will scan submitted photographic prints which are selected for publishing - for a fee of $20.00 (US) each.

ridertown.com reserves the right to edit any submitted text for length and/or content, and any submitted image for size.

ridertown.com reserves the right to refuse to publish any submitted material, in part or in its entirety, for any reason whatsoever at our discretion. So be nice.

Advertising:

ridertown.com is selling commercial advertisements now and will provide complete website services in the future:

STOREFRONT displays a stand-alone internet web page. (See an example at https://ridertown.com/shop/joes.html.)

The information is presented as supplied by the patron, layout & design is supplied by ridertown.com with the patron's input.

Note that the customer need not have a separate website or email address; the STOREFRONT page is an entrance into the World Wide Web all on its own. If a customer does have an ISP account or website, links would be provided on the STOREFRONT.

STOREFRONTs are offered at a price of $125.00 US for six months posting, with banner links throughout ridertown.com in continuous rotation. The price includes photography, design, artwork, scanning, layout, HTML coding and website storage. Other services (such as relaying email inquiries) may be provided at additional cost.

The STOREFRONT display is not intended to serve as a comprehensive website. Interior store pictures, stock inventories, prices, merchandise photos &c. can be presented (for additional charges) in a STOREFRONT+Plus.
