THURSDAY, August 10, 2000
	SummerFest Opening Ceremonies were well attended. (photo) Hundreds gather in the park to listen to the Auglaize County Alumni Band.

FRIDAY, August 11, 2000
	The SummerFest Cruise-In was held along South Street.
	Chestnut Street games and concessions drew crowds as soon as they opened Friday.
	The annual Diaper Derby delighted parents, but confused the horses.
	The Big Wheel Race is always a Big Deal for the toddlers.
	Carpenter Brothers Rides and carnival games line the midway.
	The VanDells wowed the Friday night gazebo crowd...
	... then Glory Days packed 'em in the Beer Tent.

SATURDAY, August 12, 2000
	Saturday morning Kids' Games included limbo and a puppet show.
	The ever-popular Lip Sync Contest packed the park despite the heat.
	The SummerFest Committee hammed it up with their groovy tie-dyes, man.
	Backseat Driver boomed the Beer Tent Saturday night.

SUNDAY, August 13, 2000
	The Bed Race was back and more fun than ever.

	The 8th Annual Duck Race raised over $10,000 for K.C. Geiger Park.
