St. Marys All-Brass Band Rocks Lakefest
CELINA -- The St. Marys "All-Brass" Marching Band kicked off their 2000-2001 season with a performance at the
Celina Lakefest Parade Saturday evening. The 120-member unit entertained the large and appreciative
audience along the parade route with "Louie Louie" and "Cleveland Rocks!" They are currently holding
band camp rehearsals at MHS, and will appear at the Auglaize County Fair this week, as well as the St.
Marys Summerfest Parade in August, all Roughrider football games throughout the season, and other
community events. They will also perform at the University of Toledo Band Day and Crestview
Marching Band Invitational in September. The highlight of their year will be their appearance at the
Azalea Festival Parade in Richmond, Virginia, during April of 2001.
