Monthly Teen Programs Begin at Library
ST. MARYS --Beginning Saturday, September 21, youth in grades 7 through 12 will have a Saturday afternoon program once every month at the St. Marys Community Public Library. It will start at 1:30 and run for 2 hours.
Activities will vary month to month but might include watching movies, looking at new books available, providing entertainment for each other (karaoke, a magic show, poetry readings, mystery parties, etc.), having a Monopoly or euchre tournament, playing other games, talking and snacking, just hanging out, or anything else the Young Adult Advisory Board can come up with.
So slow down, kick back, have some easy going fun with friends---unless, of course,we're revving it up, going wild, and doing something crazy.
We'l start off with a movie and snacks for the first program, and we'll share the next month's with anyone in grades 2 and up as teens tell urban legends or just a few scary stories.
It's all free, it's all fun, and it's all yours, young adults. Plan on being @ your library on September 21, October 19, and November 16 for "Hang 2 Saturdays."
