The Western Ohio Educational Foundation at the Lake Campus of Wright State University is pleased to announce the continuation of a matching funds book scholarship for Fall Quarter 2002. The St. Marys Kiwanis Club will again be contributing an amount of $50 to each incoming freshman for the Fall Quarter who are 2002 graduates of Memorial High School in St. Marys.
In consideration of the Kiwanis Club funding, the Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) will add an additional $50, making the total award equal to $100 for books per incoming student from Memorial High School.
Says Dominik, The St. Marys Kiwanis are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to St. Marys graduates. The Kiwanis regularly sponsor and support events that make a positive difference in the lives of area residents. Among the many events they support are mentoring projects and an elementary school track meet.
