WSU-LC Awards Grants/Scholarships
Wright State Universitys Lake Campus and the Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) took the occasion of a recent reception to honor recipients of scholarships and grants awarded for the 2002-2003 academic year at the Lake Campus.
In attendance, in addition to scholarship winners and their parents, were Lake Campus faculty and staff members, WOEF Board trustees, and community representatives.
To date, 113 awards for a total of $148,152 have been awarded, with a number of scholarships still to be awarded. Scholarships and grants are funded by the WOEF Board, various individuals, community organizations, corporations, and endowment funds.
Applications for the 2003-2004 scholarships available for the Lake Campus may be picked up in the Student Services Office after the second week in January 2003.
Recipient of The Crown Scholarship, full tuition, renewable for up to three years, is Heather C. Topp, New Bremen. Recipients of the Crown Scholarship renewals are Tyler J. Poeppelman, New Bremen; and Dustan S. Adkins, Celina.
Recipient of the $3,500 Community First Bank & Trust Scholarship is April E. Perrott, Crestview.
Recipient of the $3,000 Goodyear Scholarship is Kimberly L. Jutte, St. Marys Memorial.
Recipient of the $2,500 Reynolds & Reynolds ACE Scholarship is Sarah L. York, Russia.
Recipient of the Reynolds & Reynolds renewal is Adam J. Wendel, Celina.
Recipients of a $2,000 WOEF Scholarship are Krista M. Schmitmeyer, Ansonia; Jodi C. Zehringer, Coldwater; and Kimberly A. Parin, Versailles.
