Free Thanksgiving Dinner
ST. MARYS -- Giving Thanks plans for Thanksgiving Dinner. For the third consecutive year, a group of local citizens will be providing a free Thanksgiving dinner for members of the Auglaize county community.
The dinner is open to the public and reservations are not needed. The dinner will be held at the Wayne Street United Methodist Fellowship Hall on the corner of Wayne and Spring streets in downtown St. Marys. Serving times will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28th.
The menu will include the traditional turkey, dressing, vegetables, cranberry sauce and home made pies. Diners will be entertained while seated at tables decorated for the fall season.
Over 350 area residents were served last year. Once again the planners stress that Giving Thanks is for Everyone and it's Free. The dinner is supported by local businesses, professionals, and individuals. For additional information call 394-5931 or jsmking@bright.net.
