WSU-LC hosting European Trip
Dr. Donald Carlson, Associate Professor of History at the Lake Campus of Wright State University is announcing he is again hosting a Lake Campus-sponsored tour to London, England, and Paris, France.
The tour is planned for late March 2003 during the campus spring break. The tour package will include airplane flight from the United States to London, all breakfasts and dinners, hotel rooms for two or three persons, the Chunnel train to Paris, and the return flight.
In addition, guided tours in London will include St. Pauls Cathedral, Windsor Palace, a walking and riding tour of London, Stonehenge and Bath, Westminster Abby, and viewing of Buckingham Palace and Parliament. Also incorporated in the London portion of the tour will be a free tube pass for the subways, an evening play in the theater district, and time to shop and enjoy pub life.
In Paris the guided tour will include a riding tour of the central city, a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower, and a trip to the Louvre Museum. There will also be limited time to shop in Paris.
Cost for the trip is approximately $1450 for students. An additional fee will be charged for adults. A meeting for interested persons is planned Monday, Oct. 28, 6 p.m., in the Lake Campus auditorium.
