Moscow Boys Choir to Perform

On Sunday, Dec. 1, the Moscow Boys choir will return to this area. Sponsored by the College Community Arts Council, the renowned group will present "Christmas Around the World" at 7 p.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Tickets will be available at the door: Adults, $10, Students $5.

Those wishing to purchase tickets in advance may do so at the Chamber of Commerce offices in St. Marys, Celina, and New Bremen, True Value Hardware in Minster, and Holy Trinity Church in Coldwater. Wright State University-Lake Campus Students will be admitted free with student ID.

The Moscow Boys Choir is considered one of the most prestigious groups in Russia. Founded in 1957, this hand-selected choir has appeared all over the world. The 30 members are chosen from the over four hundred members of the Moscow Boys Choir School.

The performance will include seasonal music from around the world. Featured will be traditional favorites such as Silver Bells, excerpts from Handel's Messiah, and a hauntingly beautiful rendition of Silent Night.
