WSU-LC Scholarship Deadlines Announced

Wright State University Early Consideration FAFSA Filing Deadline is February 15.
Though FAFSA’s (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) may be filed at anytime during the year, the Wright State University EARLY CONSIDERATION deadline for filing the FAFSA for the 2003-04 academic year is February 15, 2003. Some campus-based aid is limited and awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. FAFSA’s can be filed for Pell and Stafford Loan eligibility any time during the year. Check applications for available dates.
FAFSA’S are available for pickup in the financial aid office at the Lake Campus. You may also file online at fafsa.ed.gov.
Remember that March 1 at 5:00 p.m. is the deadline for submission of applications for Fall 2003-Spring 2004 scholarship monies at the Lake Campus of Wright State University. Scholarship applications are available for pick-up at the Lake Campus financial aid office or at your local high school guidance office. Also available in the financial aid office at the campus are scholarship packets for Continuing Students.

March 1, 2003, 5 p.m., is the deadline for submission of applications for Fall 2003-Spring 2004 scholarship monies at the Lake Campus of Wright State University.
Scholarship applications are available for pick-up at the Lake Campus financial aid office or at your local high school guidance office. More than $186,000 is available for scholarships through the Lake Campus and the Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) board of trustees for the 2003-2004 academic year.
Interested persons need to complete only one application to apply for most scholarships. Over 140 scholarships will be awarded to beginning, transfer, and continuing students who will attend the Lake Campus at Celina, or our satellite campus at Vantage Career Center in Van Wert.
The Dayton campus awards scholarships to entering freshmen who apply for admission by February 15 and who meet the eligibility criterion for each award level. The following awards are renewable for four years and may be applied to classes at the Lake Campus:
WSU National Scholarship-National Merit Scholarship Finalist, in-state full tuition;
WSU Semifinalist Scholarship-National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist, in-state full tuition;
WSU Commended Scholarship National Merit Scholarship Commended Scholar, in-state full tuition;
Valedictorian/Salutatorian-ranked 1st or 2nd by four-year high school, in-state full tuition to $2500 depending on ACT/SAT composite score;
Wright State Scholar Meet 2 of 3 criteria: 3.75 cum. GPA, rank in top 10% of graduating class, 29 ACT or 1300 SAT composite;
Green and Gold Scholar Meet 2 or 3 criteria: 3.50 cum. GPA, rank in top 10% of graduating class, 27 ACT or 1220 SAT composite;
Raider Scholar Meet 2 or 3: 3.25 cum. GPA, rank in top 10% of graduating class, 25 ACT or 1140 SAT composite.
Deadline for filing your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is February 15. FAFSAS are also available for pickup in the financial aid office at the campus. You may also file the FAFSA online at fafsa.ed.gov.
