February 13 Press Release "On The Edge"

Jim Niekamp to Give Keynote Address

Jim Niekamp of 95% Share Marketing will be the keynote speaker for the 3rd annual On The Edge professional development seminar being offered at the Lake Campus of Wright State University on Thursday, March 27.

Niekamp, managing partner of 95% Share Marketing in St. Henry, will talk to you about “Capturing and Keeping your Customers . . . for a Lifetime!” His presentation will tell you how to learn and understand the real reason customers buy from you, how to start making it FUN for your customers, and make all your sales problems disappear. Niekamp will help you understand “what you can do to make sure you always win over your competition, and you’ll come away knowing and understanding what is most important for you to execute to “capture your customers and keep them for a lifetime.”

After he graduated with a degree in business from Miami University, Niekamp immediately started his career with a medical equipment manufacturer in sales, sales management, customer service management, product management, and marketing. During his tenure the company he was working for rose from being the fourth place player with less than 10% of the market to becoming the first place player with over 95% of the market and with three separate product lines.

Niekamp will share some fun and unique and simple ideas so we can all experience the same type of success in our businesses.

The day-long seminar, especially developed for the local business and industry community, is being presented by the Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, the Celina Rotary Club, and the Lake Campus of Wright State University, in cooperation with other area Chambers of Commerce.

From learning how to better understand why customers buy from you and discovering new ways to win over the competition, participants will also receive information from seminar experts on technology and communication, legal hiring practices, dealing with difficult people, conflict management, and assertiveness. Business professionals can gain an edge in creative problem solving and develop new people skills so necessary for success in today's competitive business environment.

The cost for the seminar, which is open to the public, is $50 for the full-day session that includes lunch. Also available are morning or afternoon sessions for just $35 each. Interested persons should contact the Chamber at 419-586-2219 to register today!
