Hey St. Marys!
We (Radio Radio) will be doing back to back shows Summerfest weekend, Friday and Saturday, August 8th and 9th, on the movie stage at The St. Marys Theater beginning between 9 and 10 p.m. both nights. Doors open around 8. Admission is only $3, and all ages are invited.
What's cool about these shows is that there will be a production crew on location at each performance shooting footage for our first music video, featuring our single "Whole." Footage from the shows will be combined with additional footage from other locations to complete the project. Anyone interested in being cast for additional non-performance scenes should contact me HERE, or talk to me at one of the shows. We want to pack the Grand Opera House Theater and give everyone the chance to be seen on camera. We're gonna rock and roll (film that is).
The purpose of the shows is to help theater owner Tim Townsend kick off the grand re-opening of the theater. The entire building (which is home of Dream Big, the local talent show aired on NBC, WLIO-Lima) will be packed with entertainment Friday and Saturday Night August 8th and 9th. The One Eyed Show will be performing up stairs in the ballroom (for an additional $3) at the exact same time we're performing downstairs on the movie stage. There will be karaoke and an acoustic act in the lobby as well. Tim has put a lot of time and effort into resurrecting such a historical community landmark. We urge everyone to come down to the theater and see first hand the result of his hard work!
