ST. MARYS, OHIO -- The Family Life Center of Auglaize County is looking for men from committed Christian marriages to be mentors to meet one-on-one with young men involved in unplanned pregnancies. A mentor would be a positive role model for these young men who often come from homes where the father has been absent or nonresidential and as a result they have grown up without a good father figure. And now they find themselves new or soon-to-be fathers.
There will be an organizational meeting on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at the Family Life Center, 201 W. North St., St. Marys. If you plan to attend or if you cannot make the meeting but would like to be a part of the ministry please call the Family Life Center at 419-300-9756 so we may plan for the correct number.
We also will be looking to compile a list of young men who would benefit from such a program. If you know of any young men for this program or have any questions, please call the Center.
