ST. MARYS -- Rev. and Mrs. James E. (Jean Turner) Flinchbaugh will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on January 13, 2001.
The Flinchbaughs were married on January 13, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio.
Rev. Flinchbaugh is a retired pastor of the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. His ministry extended for more than 40 years and included 6 years as pastor at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, Ohio.
A reception was held in their honor on December 22, 2000 at the Oakwood Center at Otterbein Home, St. Marys.
Hosting the reception were their three children, spouses and grandchildren: Bruce Flinchbaugh and Mary Fontana; John and Anne Fontana Flinchbaugh of Dallas, Texas; Nancy Flinchbaugh and Steve Schlather; Luke and Jacob Flinchbaugh Schlather of Springfield, Ohio and Paul and Angela Flinchbaugh and Ashley Moen of Brownsville, Texas.
The Flinchbaugh's currently reside at Otterbein Home in St. Marys.
