August 16 Memorandum
Kindergarten schedule
Forms and Fees Days: Aug. 16 3:00-6:00 and Aug. 17 9:00- 12:00. This is a time parents can come in to tour the building, pay fees, and turn in missing entrance forms (birth certificate, immunization records, custody papers, social security numbers, etc).
There will be one form to fill out and class lists will also be posted. Fees are $30 and cover all supplies (crayons, school box, paper, books, pencils, etc). Students will only need a bookbag for the first day of school.
Open House - Sept. 25, 7-8
Kindergarten Orientation August 22, 2001
When? Wednesday, August 22, 2001 (first day of school for St. Marys City Schools)
Purpose: This half day program is designed to acquaint parents and their children to their classroom and ease the transition from home to school.
Students with last names beginning with letters A-L:
- Parents put students on the bus from their bus stop
- Parents meet students at school at 8:00
- Parents and students proceed to student&Mac226;s classroom for orientation activities
- Students will eat lunch in the cafeteria
- Parents take students home at 10:30
Students with last names beginning with letters M-Z:
- Parents and students arrive by 12:15 and report to students assigned classroom
- Students will eat lunch in the cafeteria
- Parents and students return to student&Mac226;s classroom for orientation activities
- Parents will assist with student dismissal (2:35 p.m.) and meet children at their stop
First full day of school: Thursday, August 23, 2001 (8:10-2:40)
You will receive a postcard reminder in mid-August.
