McBroom Back-to-School Information

Schedule Pick-Up
7th grade and new student orientation - August 17 9:00 - 11:00 Cook Gym
8th grade schedule pickup August 20 McBroom Office Students whose last name begins with A - M should come between 9:00 and 10:00. Students whose last name begins with N - Z should come between 10:00 and 11:00
Washington, D.C. Trip
Parents of eighth graders going on our Washington, D.C. trip are reminded that final payment (either $170 or $194 - we'll let you know) is due between September 26 and October 3. Checks should be made out to McBroom Junior High and can be sent in with your student. Please do not send in your payment early.
Open House
McBroom School will host an Open House for parents on Monday, September 10. During the time period of 7:00 P.M. to 8:25 P.M., parents will be able to attend a mini-school day, similar to your student's daily schedule.
Picture Day
Thursday, October 4, is "Picture Day" at McBroom. On approximately September 27, students will be bringing home a flyer from our photographer that will review the process and the different packages available. All students wanting to purchase a picture packet must bring the correct amount to school on the day pictures are taken.
School Lunches
The cost of student lunches at McBroom will again be $1.60 for the 2001/02 school year. Additional cartons of milk cost 25 cents.
