MHS Students Get Acting Lessons
ST. MARYS -- The Great Lakes theater Festival’s school residency program visited Linda Ruane’s English II classes the week of Nov. 26-30.
Two professional actors/instructors, Matthew Pierce and Kristie Lang, challenged students, who had studied Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar the two weeks before, to interpret and act out scenes from the play. Through discussions and activities, as well, the students, discovered the meaning of classical theater, plays written hundreds of years ago that still have relevancy in our present times.
