William M. Krugh

William M. Krugh, 68, of 813 McKinley Road, St. Marys, Ohio, died suddenly at 10:10 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2002, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.

He was born January 26, 1934, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the son of William and Nellie (Merrifield) Krugh.

He married Janetta "Sis" Cisco on November 22, 1952; she survives at the residence.

He is survived by four children: Mrs. Tammy (Jerry) Chilcoat of St. Marys; Mrs. Jenny (Dave) Luedeke of St. Marys; Bill (and Lori) Krugh of St. Marys; Rusty (and Pat) Krugh of St. Marys; by ten grandchildren; by eight great-grandchildren; by his mother-in-law, Mrs. Esther Cisco of St. Marys; by five sisters: Mrs. Peggy (Dan) Rankin of Idaho; Mrs. Glennie (Bob) Kendall of Lima; Mrs. Mildred (Ron) Dorsten of Wapakoneta; Mrs. Linda (Norval) Holdren of Coldwater, Ohio; Mrs. Debra (Mike) Frey of St. Marys; by one brother, Jim (and Pat) Krugh of Cleveland, Ohio.

Mr. Krugh was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Davis; by one half-brother, Robert Merrifield; by four infant sisters and one infant brother; and by his parents.

He was a 1952 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys, after 44 years of service. Mr. Krugh was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys.

He was a member of Mercer Lodge No. 121, Free and Accepted Masons, St. Marys. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 767, St. Marys, where he was currently serving as Vice-President.

He enjoyed playing cards and fishing; he loved working in his yard and watching his grandchildren play sports.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Reverend Patricia Minnich officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at the Miller Funeral Home, where memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association or to the Diabetes Foundation.
