Mary M. Bowersock, 77, of 822 Columbia Street in St. Marys, Ohio, died 12:31 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2002 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
She was born August 8, 1925 in in St. Marys Twp., Auglaize Co., Ohio, a daughter of Carl and Marguerite (Slemmons) Hagaman.
On September 19, 1942, she married Edward E. Bowersock, who died May 9, 1986.
She is survived by: son Edward E. (Cathy) Bowersock of Austin, Texas; son Dale H. Bowersock of St. Marys, Ohio;
daughter Carol Batch of St. Marys, Ohio;
daughter Rhonda L. (Steve) Drummond of Tampa, Forida;
daughter Tina M. (Rick Craft) Wycuff of St. Marys, Ohio;
22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren;
and a brother, George (Ivadean) Anderson of St. Marys, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister Carol Byerly; and two grandsons, Shane Bowersock and Raymond Davis, Jr.
Mary was a 1942 graduate of Memorial High School in St. Marys.
She was a homemaker, and enjoyed reading.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys.
Private family services and burial will be held. Miller Bros. Funeral Directors 1605 Ohio Rte. 703 West in St. Marys are in charge of arrangements.
