SPRING VALLEY, CALIFORNIA - Julia Lynn Apelian, 42, of Spring Valley, California, died June 22, 2003, at her residence.
She was born May 12, 1961, in Columbus, a daughter of George and Clover (Werner) Apelian, who survive in Boca Raton, Florida.
She is survived by a daughter, Cassandra Lynn Green of Yuma, Arizona; a sister, Georgeanne Shockey of Houston, Texas; a brother, Michael Apelian of Boca Raton, Florida, and an uncle, Richard Apelian of Hatfield, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Howard "Jake" and Jess Werner.
Ms. Apelian was employed as director of marketing for Montbeau Wood Designs in San Diego, California. She was a 1979 graduate of Upper Arlington High School and a graduate of the University of Florida at Gainesville.
She was a volunteer at the San Diego Estuary.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. Jerry Folk officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
