ST. MARYS, OHIO - Karen "Sue" Reed, 59, of 129 N. Cherry St., St. Marys, died at 10:31 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 12, 1943, in St. Marys, a daughter of George and Betty (Jones) Sullivan, who preceded her in death. In June 1963, she married F. Pearl Reed, and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by a daughter, Deb (Dave) Fisher of St. Marys; three grandchildren, Danielle Nicole Fisher, Dustin Joseph Fisher and Derek George Fisher, all of St. Marys; five brothers, Larry (Sue) Sullivan, Bob (Sue) Sullivan, Terry Sullivan and Timothy Sullivan, all of St. Marys, and Louis Sullivan of Florida; and two sisters, Judy (Ray) Slone of New Knoxville and Lynn Dircksen of Celina.
Mrs. Reed was a 1961 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She had been employed for 31 years at Huffy Manufacturing Company in Celina.
In addition to spending time with her grandchildren, she enjoyed riding poker runs on motorcycles, reading and watching NASCAR racing, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
