ST. MARYS, OHIO - Sarah E. Fett, 94, formerly of 1016 W. Spring St., St. Marys, and a resident of the St. Marys Living Center, died at 7:46 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the Living Center.
She was born June 15, 1909, in Logan County, a daughter of Andrew and Anna (Shoults) Cox. On May 5, 1928, she married Foster Jones, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1940. She married William Fett on Sept. 22, 1973, and he preceded her in death on March 2, 1982.
She is survived by two stepdaughters, Shirley (Ronald) Dorazio of Watertown, Conn., and RoseMarie Hiznay of Bridgeport, Conn,; a close friend and former neighbor, Shirley (Mark) Dues of St. Marys; three stepgrandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Eldine Holaday of Naperville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by a 7-year-old daughter, Patricia Jones, who was killed in a farm accident. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Cox, and a sister, Ruth Ward.
Mrs. Fett had worked at the Boss Glove Company and the Peerless Glove Company, both in Bluffton. She was a member of the Eagles 767 Auxiliary. She was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jumbo.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
