ST. MARYS, OHIO - Marvin A. Miller, 77, 14600 Ohio 119, Anna, died at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born June 27, 1926, in Shelby County, the son of William and Gertrude (Green) Miller. On May 28, 1948, he married Arvillia Lentz, and she survives.
He is survived by three sons, William Miller of Botkins, Michael (Theresa) Miller of Marshall, Va., and Daniel (Sue) Miller of St. Marys. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Miller was a retired farmer and a retired school bus driver for the Anna school system, retiring in 1991 after 35 years of service.
He was a member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Anna, and he belonged to the St. Jacob Lutheran Church Brotherhood.
He was past president of the Shelby County Drafthorse Association, the Anna Community Club and the Shelby County Pork Producers Association. He served as an adviser for many years for the Anna Livestock Club and the Double M Horse Club.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Jacob Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Althauser officiating. Burial will be in the Pearl Cemetery in Swanders.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney.
