ST. MARYS, OHIO - Norman D. Bair, 84, of rural St. Marys, died at 3:40 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at the Roselawn Manor Nursing Home in Spencerville, where he had been a resident for one week.
He was born April 27, 1919, in Wapakoneta, to Ira Dale and Hazel Mae (Jack) Bair.
He married Letha J. Krites on Aug. 30, 1958, and she survives.
Mr. Bair is also survived by a daughter Irene S. (Tim) Mullenhour of St. Marys; a son Howard D. (Lori) Bair of St. Marys; and four grandchildren, Sarah Lange of Memphis, Tenn., Daniel Lange, Jessica Layman and Logan Bair, all of St. Marys.
He requested cremation with private family services to be held at a later date. Arrangements are being completed by the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville. There will be no visitiation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church in St. Marys.
